Wolf Creek Online High School is proud to announce that Director Tracy Quarnstrom has been appointed to a Minnesota Department of Education working group on the Online Learning Options Act.
This group is composed of representatives from the Department of Education, various online providers, and traditional schools interested in virtual learning.
The goal of the group is to review the Online Learning Options Act in Minnesota and suggest revisions to the legislation to the education committees at the State Capital by the fall.
Dean of Students Brenda Swanson stated, “Wolf Creek is proud that our director was chosen to represent all online providers in MN based on her varied experiences in virtual learning since 1999.”
Wolf Creek was founded in 2002 and remains one of the most respected and longest-running virtual programs in MN. With almost twenty years of experience, they lead the state in learning and support styles that focus on a, “learn at your own pace.” model. With Learning Managers as teachers, support is available at all times for students. Also, with a hybrid campus option, engagement is high with students and their support networks.
Director Quarnstrom stated, “I am proud to serve on this working group as the virtual learning landscape in Minnesota changes as we move out of a pandemic. At no time in history is choice and high-quality virtual programming more important.”
