Admission Procedure
Student submits an application to Wolf Creek via website or printed paper application.
If the program is under capacity, the student is immediately enrolled and additional paperwork will be issued to complete the process.
If the program is at maximum capacity, the student will be placed on a waiting list and a lottery will be conducted in accordance with Policy 536 two (2) weeks prior to the start of the next grading term. The quarter 1 lottery date is always the first Tuesday of August.
Wolf Creek Online High School does not limit admission of pupils on the basis of intellectual ability, measures of achievement or aptitude, or athletic ability and may not establish any criteria or requirements for admission that are inconsistent with MN Statute Section 124E.11.
2025-26 Lottery Dates
- Quarter 1 = August 5
- Quarter 2 = October 21, 2025
- Quarter 3 = January 6, 2026
- Quarter 4 = March 17, 2026
Waitlist/Lottery Procedures
Wolf Creek has two programs: full-time and supplemental (part-time). Separate waitlists are maintained for each.
Two weeks prior to the start of each term, a lottery will be held for each waitlist according to the steps outlined in Policy 536.
Siblings of currently enrolled students (including foster/adopted siblings) will be given an open seat before the lottery is conducted.
The school may also give priority enrollment to the child of a school employee as described in MN Statute Section 124E.11, c.
Wolf Creek does not give geographic preference to enrolling students.
